College Advisory Committee
The College Advisory Committee (CAC) is a PTSA-sponsored committee comprising parent/guardian volunteers who support B-CC's College and Career Center and Counseling Department in assisting B-CC students and families with the college consideration and application process.
CAC hosts/co-hosts events throughout the year on various topics including information on finding a good college fit, SATs and ACTs, financing college, college essays, and more.
2022-2023 CAC Co-Chairs: Molly Chehak, Christina Saudek Cusack, and Rachel Strong.

Used Book Sale
Chairs: Sarah Mitchell and Andra Chernack
This is the biggest fundraiser of the school year and funds countless clubs and activities for B-CC High School students and teachers.
We can't make this event happen without a lot of volunteer support. We need help on the following days/times:
Book Sale Set Up - Art Atrium
Friday, March 1 - 12noon - 8pm (early release day for MCPS)
Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3 - 10am - 4pm
Friday, March 8 - 12noon - 8pm (adults can start at 12, students can start at 2:30)
Used Book Sale:
Sign Up for General Volunteers or Sign Up for Cashiers/Talliers
Saturday, March 9 - 9:30am - 6pm for volunteers
(sale hours are 10am-5pm)
Sunday, March 10 - 9:30am-6pm for volunteers
(sale hours are 10am-3pm)
Ways to get involved:

Volunteer yourself! - join the UBS committee, sort books, help at the sale

Volunteer your kids! We offer SSL hours for all UBS activities

Donate Books! Drop off days: Sept. 30, November 5, and February 3 - 10am-2pm

Shop the Book Sale! Sale days are March 9-10 - over 50,000 books!
