After Prom is the alcohol-free, substance-free event that keeps our students safe after the Senior Prom.
It is open to ALL SENIORS, whether they attend Prom or not.
The 2018 Senior Prom will be held on Friday, May 11th from 8pm - midnight.
After Prom takes place at Dave & Buster's in Silver Spring, directly following the Prom.
Senior Prom: Friday, May 11, 8pm-12am
After Prom: Saturday, May 12, 12am-5am
Great news! After Prom is a great event to be held so that Seniors and their dates may attend a post-prom event. There will be food, drink, and fun at Dave & Buster's in Silver Spring.
All B-CC HS Seniors are welcome and encouraged to attend After Prom, whether they attend Prom or not. Parent volunteers and B-CC school staff and security chaperone the event, and well over 375 students have attended After Prom in recent years.
Parents, we ask for your support in two ways. One, please encourage your Senior to join his/her friends at After Prom. We hope parents will not host post prom parties at their homes and recent tragedies remind us of the dangers of such events.
Second, After Prom is FREE to B-CC Seniors and their dates! It is funded ENTIRELY by contributions from the PTSA, parents and community businesses. We urge all parents to make a contribution to support this important effort. The suggested contribution is $50. If you can donate more to assist those for whom these suggested amounts are a stretch, please do! After Prom is not an inexpensive evening, but we hope you will agree that it is worth every penny to keep our Seniors and their dates safe.
Please take the time to make your contribution TODAY. You can pay online at pay4schoolstuff.com or write a check to the B-CC PTSA with a notation that it is for After Prom. Either drop it off in the front office or mail it to B-CC HS PTSA, Attn: After Prom, 4301 East West Highway, Bethesda MD 20814. If you own a business or have contacts with a business that might be interested in underwriting After Prom please let us know.
